The water of this spa is mostly recommended for those who have rheums. This spa has indoor and outdoor thermal pools, and one swimming pool.

The first source which mentions the name of the town dates back to the 14C. The name of the settlement was Feledház that time. The king gave this land to the queen in this century. When the Turks invaded Hungary, in the 16C, Feledház became deserted. After, mostly Jazygian people settled here. In the 18C it became an oppidium, which means a small town with some privileges. During the 19C the small factories of the town developed, though it still remained a mostly agricultural town, which was well known for its poultry. Nevertheless, in the second half of the century, after the railway was laid down, its inhabitants started to become real citizens. The local newspaper, the local press and the town museum are small signs of these changes.

During the 20C some small developments were made, like a new hospital and new housing estates were built, the infrastructure got better. But anyway, Kiskunfélegyháza remained a mostly agricultural town. Nowadays tourism gets more interests, but the town still has a great small-townish atmosphere.
